In part: “You have read 64 of my books so let me express my gratitude to you, and I am glad to think you must have enjoyed them or you would not have gone on doing it. You will doubtless understand that having written 64 or more books I am no longer of the age when I enjoy having photographs taken of me, and indeed I shall be 80 on my next birthday.” In fine condition, with a trivial stain to the right edge.
