Wonderful late-1950s ballpoint signature, “Walt Disney,” on an off-white 5 x 2.5 clipped slip. Framed to an overall size of 6.75 x 4.75. Scattered creases, toned tape remnants, and a missing upper left corner tip, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient, in full: “In 1958 my parents took me to Disneyland in Anaheim, California. It was our first time at the park. We entered Disneyland and were walking through Tomorrowland when I spotted Walt Disney walking with two other men in front of me. I was ten years old at the time. I ran after him and he put his arm out and hugged me. He continued to walk, my parents followed behind. After a few minutes I asked him if I could have his autograph. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with his name on it. I thanked him and ran back to my parents who were just as thrilled as I was to see the real Walt Disney in person. I put the autograph in my autograph book and secured it with scotch tape. The autograph has been in the book for 57 years till recently.
