Exceedingly rare US Treasury presidential paycheck, 8.5 x 3.25, filled out in type as payable to “Warren G. Harding, President of the United States, The White House, Washington DC” for $6,250.00, January 31, 1923, crisply endorsed on the reverse, “Warren G. Harding.” In fine condition, with expected check wear and cancellation holes (slightly affecting the first name in the signature), and mild soiling. As Harding’s term in office was cut short by his death, his monthly paychecks are even rarer than those of other presidents. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
