Revolutionary War–dated ADS, one page, 7.5 x 3, November 20, 1779. Financial receipt, in part: “Recd. Nov. 20 1779 of the Hon. James Searle Esq Loan Office Certificate for Seventeen hundred Dollars.” In very good condition, with intersecting folds and scattered staining. Accompanied by an unsigned engraved portrait bearing a pre-printed facsimile signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
