Collection of material related to Project Mercury, including: two 8 x 10 photos signed by Gordon Cooper (one vintage); a TLS signed by Gordon Cooper; an 8 x 10 litho signed by Scott Carpenter; a booklet and book page, both signed by Wally Schirra (one inscribed); approximately 125 NASA exhibit cards from 1963, comprising one complete 32-card set and three nearly complete sets; 40 unsigned glossy 4 x 5 photos of various Mercury astronauts, some with facsimile signatures inherent to the image; an ‘America’s Astronauts: Conquerors of Space!’ comic book; a Project Mercury fabric banner; four blocks of commemorative stamps; a Collier’s cardstock poster advertising space-related artwork; and a US Army electrical fundamentals manual. In overall very good to fine condition, with a large tear to the vintage Cooper signed photo. Signed items are pre-certified Zarelli Space Authentication.
