Buffalo Bill’s Wild West & Pawnee Bill’s Far East business check, 8.5 x 3.5, filled out in another hand and signed by Cody, “W. F. Cody,” payable to Budd & Co. for $24, August 7, 1910. Cody adds above his signature, “Buffalo Bills Wild West, Pawnee Bills Far East.” In very good condition, with two vertical folds (one passing through a portion of the writing), some brushing to the signature and writing, slight soiling, adhesive remnants to reverse, and expected bank stamps, and central cancellation cuts and holes. A rare and exceedingly desirable business check from the legendary Western showman, made all the more desirable by the addition of his show and celebrity partnership. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
