In part: “Resolved, that each of the following officers of Edison Storage Battery Company…is authorized to sign…all bids submitted to, and contracts made with, the Government of the United States of America, or any Department of the United States of America…At the request of Mr. G. E. Stringfellow…the following resolution was unanimously adopted…the Board of Directors does hereby authorize a membership in the Masonic Country Club, Detroit, Mich., for O. L. Jenkins.” Signed at the conclusion by Thomas Edison, his son Charles Edison, and the company’s other board members. In fine condition, with expected document wear and uniform toning.
