TLS signed “Gerald R. Ford,” one page, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, January 25, 1993. Letter to retired Marine Staff Sergeant Dave Phillips. In part: “You will find a copy of a proposed Op-Ed piece on the request of some parties that bullet fragments be removed from John Connally’s body. The author, David Belin, was a top staff member of the Warren Commission and has written several books on the JFK Assassination. I agree with his conclusions. It would not be essential to remove any bullet fragments from the body.” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
