Handsome original sketch of Wayne accomplished by an admirer in pencil on an off-white 7.75 x 9.75 cardstock sheet, signed in the lower right in black ink, “My best, John Wayne.” Dated 1974 by the artist in the lower left. In fine condition, with a slight brush to one letter of the signature. Collector’s notation on reverse indicates that the signature was obtained at the Pierre Hotel in New York City. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
