Magnificent 3.25 x 5.25 postcard photo of the famed Russian, signed in crisp black ink, “Sergei Rachmaninoff, 2. II. 14, London.” In fine condition, with silvering to borders and a bit of light contrast to signature against dark portions of the image. Rachmaninoff performed at the Royal Albert Hall on February 1, 1914, as a part of an eight-concert tour of England. A striking, early portrait of the accomplished pianist and composer.
