Besides, in my opinion we must be modest at this time.” In fine condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds and a uniform overall block of toning. Les Soirees de Medan was a collection of six short stories authored by Zola, Guy de Maupassant, Joris-Karl Huysmans, Henri Ceard, Leon Hennique, and Paul Alexis; the title was taken from the name of Zola’s home near Versailles, where the writers often gathered together.
