TLS signed “D. E.,” one page, 7 x 10.25, personal letterhead, August 18, 1961. Letter to David Marx, of the famous toy manufacturer Louis Marx and Company, in part: “The radio has arrived. I am assured by John and others who claim (a claim I doubt) to be possessed of more mechanical ability than I, that it is a miracle of scientific ingenuity. Further I am told that when I conquer, if I do, all its idiosyncracies [sic], I can listen to the consistently dismal foreign news with the greatest of ease. Someone should invent a radio sometime that responds only to the happier things of life.” In fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope bearing a pre-printed facsimile franking signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
