Partly-printed vellum DS as president, one page, 15.5 x 9.75, June 1, 1831. President Jackson grants John McCandless of Muskingum County, Ohio, a parcel of the “lands subject to sale at Zanesville, Ohio, containing seventy eight acres.” Signed at the conclusion by President Jackson and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Elijah Hayward. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact with creases to several points. In very good condition, with intersecting folds (a few vertical folds passing through letters of the signature) and moderate scattered soiling. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
