President Pierce appoints Gideon Bradford as “Collector of the Custom for the District of Providence, in the State of Rhode Island.” Crisply signed at the conclusion by President Pierce and countersigned by Secretary of the Treasury James Guthrie. Repaired separations to intersecting folds and trimmed edges, otherwise fine condition; overall an unusually clean, bright document. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
