TLS as president signed “Pa,” one page, 7 x 8.75, White House letterhead, June 5, 1936. Letter to his daughter, Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, whom he referred to as “Sis,” in full: “A very hasty line—I leave this afternoon to attend the Speaker’s funeral in Tennessee, returning on Sunday. I want to get the enclosed to you before I go. My love to you both. Do let me hear from you.” In fine condition. Longtime Tennessee congressman Joseph W.
