King George appoints “George Ornsby, Gent…to be First Lieutenant to Our Thirty Seventh Company of Marines.” Signed in the upper left by King George and countersigned by the Earl of Sandwich. Retains the blue ribbon affixed to the left side. Expected document wear with intersecting folds, scattered creases, and some soiling, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
