Hungarian magician and escape artist who was the younger brother of Harry Houdini (1876–1945). Two color postcards: one depicting Blackpool, Sands View, signed on the front in purple ink, “‘Palace Theatre,’ March 24/06, Regards from Hardeen”; and one depicting the Fuller Building in New York, signed vertically in black ink, “July 31/04, Kindest regards, Theo Hardeen, I shall be in London Aug 11th.” Scattered soiling, a few light creases, and dings to corner tips, otherwise fine condition.
