I am so afraid always of an error in spelling or grammar, hardly permissible to an Ancien Lyceen de Janson de Sailly, that I invariably postpone my reply until the fortuitous visit of Robert Florey or somebody like that to help me write it. Of course when they come I forget to ask them and then I am rude and late with my answer like now. Your warm, charming letter about The Miracle gave me great happiness.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature) and a few spots of toning to upper portion.
