Official Rawlings American League (Budig) baseball commemorating the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s entry into the Major Leagues, signed in blue ballpoint on the sweet spot and side panels by twelve black ballplayers who had a role in the integration of baseball, most adding the date of their debut. Signers are: Larry Doby (first American League), Ernie Banks (first Cub), Monte Irvin (first Giant), Frank Robinson (first manager), Buck O’Neil (first coach), Minnie Minoso (first White Sox), Sam Jethroe (first Brave), Bob Watson (first general manager), Chuck Harmon and Nino Escalera (first Reds), Pumpsie Green (first Red Sox), and Ozzie Virgil (first Tiger). A bit of brushing and mild haloing to some signatures, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
