Two items: a TLS, one page, 8 x 10.5, Army Ballistic Missile Agency letterhead, stamp-dated January 5, 1960. Letter to Caspar Mol, in full: “I have your letter of 29 December in which you request my autographed picture. Inclosed herewith is an 8″x10″ signed photograph which I hope is satisfactory. I am honored and flattered to be able to comply with your request. Your interest in the work of this Agency is appreciated.” Second item is the glossy 10.5 x 8 photograph of von Braun referenced in the letter, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Caspar Mol, sincerely—Wernher von Braun.” In overall fine condition, with creasing to upper corner tips of the letter, and some creasing to upper edge of the photo.
