Color glossy 8.25 x 10.75 photo of Major and Arafat posing together, affixed along the top edge to its original 9.75 x 12.5 mount, signed on the mount in black ink, “John Major,” and in blue ink, “Y. Arafat, 4/6/96.” Reverse of the photo bears an Associated Press copyright stamp, and an Associated Press caption sheet is affixed to the reverse of the mount. In fine condition, with trivial surface impressions to photo, and a small spot of dampstaining to the first letter of the Major signature. Arafat met with Major during a two-day visit in early June of 1996 to express his concerns on the Middle East peace process. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
