TLS signed “Wm. H. Taft,” one page, 6.75 x 8.75, personal letterhead, August 22, 1918. Letter to Frederick Judson, in full: “I have yours of August 19th, and thank you for sending me the paper which you and Walsh have signed. It seems to me you have reached a very wise conclusion in it. I felicitate you on securing Walsh’s signature to your sound views.” In fine condition, with three horizontal folds (one passing through a portion of the signature), trivial surface loss to left edge, and trivial soiling.
