Lincoln J. Beachey

American aviator and barnstormer (1887–1915) who perished in front of 50,000 onlookers while performing an aerial stunt at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. H. M. Benner photo postcard depicting a seaplane landing on water, 5.5 x 3.5, signed in fountain pen, “Lincoln Beachey.” Collector’s notations below signature and on reverse indicate that the signature was obtained on October 4, 1913. In fine condition, with trivial wear to corners and the signature a shade light. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
