Description

Otto Loewi

German pharmacologist and psychobiologist (1873–1961) who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1936. ALS in German, signed “Prof. Loewi,” one page on a 5.5 x 3.5 postal card, July 21, 1916. Letter to Oscar Kindig, in part (translated): "I am delighted that you are doing well and are interested in science.” Card is also addressed on the reverse in his own hand, incorporating “Prof. Loewi” into the return address. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
