And it is my proud mission here, in the ancient historic Capital of Canada, hallowed as you say by the struggles of nations and enriched by the blood of heroes such as Wolfe and Montcalm, to come amongst you as a token of that feeling of admiration and pride with which the King and the whole Empire have seen the sons of the Dominion rallying round the Flag of their common allegiance.” Nicely signed at the conclusion of each page by George.
