A marriage document addressed “To Either of the ordained Ministers of the Gospel of the Province.” In part: “You are hereby authorized and impowered to joyn together in a holy matrimony Winthrop Burnum and Merrell Adams unless some lawfull impediment appears to you to the contrary.” In fine condition, with central vertical and horizontal folds and light foxing.
