Chantier letterhead, in part: “We have a pretty big program in front of us:—putting the old ship out of commission.” He adds a handwritten postscript, “Did you get my radio sent en-route Kings Bay?” Second is signed “Dick Byrd,” August 31, 1935, in part: “I haven’t entirely recovered yet from the poisoning I got at Advance Base.” In overall fine condition, with intersecting folds and scattered creases. Accompanied by both original mailing envelopes. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
