Desirable hand-addressed and signed address panel removed from a mailing envelope, 4 x 2.5, addressed by Dickens to “Thomas Longman Esquire, Messrs Longman & Co, Palmerston Row,” and signed in the lower left, “Charles Dickens.” Postmarked at Devonshire, August 25, 1845. Nicely double-suede-matted and framed with an engraved portrait to an overall size of 12.5 x 18.5. Light scattered soiling (affecting a letter in Dickens’s signature), otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
