Austrian conductor (1896–1946) who became principal conductor of the Munich Philharmonic in 1938. Due to his support of the Nazi party he was dismissed from the position following the war, after which he committed suicide. Matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of Kabasta, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, and dated March 7, 1938. In fine condition, with a few light bends and slight irregular adhesion to signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
