One of boxing’s most elusive champions

Legendary boxer (1863–1917) who was the sport’s first three-division world champion, winning the middleweight title in 1891, the heavyweight title in 1897, and the light-heavyweight title in 1903. Color postcard featuring Australian state flags and a coat of arms, 3.5 x 5.5, signed in fountain pen, “Robert Fitzsimmons, ‘a man, a man for a that,’” with a collector’s date notation of 1913 at the bottom. Some light soiling and wear to corners, and spreading to ink in a few letters of signature, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
