TLS, one page, 5.75 x 7.75, White House letterhead, November 9, 1936. Letter to Mrs. Adolph, in part: “The President and I deeply appreciate your congratulations and good wishes and are very grateful for your loyal support. It is very heartening indeed for the President to receive such an overwhelming vote of confidence.” Roosevelt adds a brief handwritten postscript, “I wish I could go to Fort Riley but I fear I can’t.” Nicely double-matted and framed with a portrait of the First Lady to an overall size of 19 x 15.5. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
