Three payroll checks for the Brewers’ third baseman Sal Bando, dated 1980-1983, each filled out in type and endorsed on the reverse, “Salvatore Bando.” Two are also signed by team owner and president—and current Commissioner of Baseball—Allan ‘Bud’ Selig. In overall fine condition, with expected bank stamps (minimally affecting two Bando signatures), and a light fold, a small area of surface loss, and a JSA label affixed to the reverse of the non-Selig-signed check.
