I know that a few words from yourself would save much time in the transference of information and therefore take the liberty of introducing him to you. I have been so much occupied lately that I have been unable to pay you a visit to examine your new telescope for distances.” Double-matted and framed with a portrait of Babbage to an overall size of 17.5 x 14.5, with a window on the reverse for viewing the front of the letter.
