Vose as a “Lieutenant Colonel in the Third Regiment of Infantry in the service of the United States.” Boldly signed at the conclusion by President Jackson and countersigned by Secretary of War John H. Eaton. The embossed white paper seal affixed to the top remains crisp and fully intact. Double-matted to an overall size of 22 x 25.75.
