In full: “I regret to say that the duplicate of the Agreement between Mr. Hackett and myself cannot be found. I beg to acknowledge the copy which you have sent and to say that when the other is found, you shall have it.” Matted and framed with a portrait of Tennyson, image of the reverse, and the text of a poem to an overall size of 18.75 x 11, with an open back for viewing the signature on the reverse.
