Duke Ellington

Mimeographed DS, signed in ink by Ellington, four pages, 8.5 x 14, March 6, 1946. Agreement between Lawrence Brown and Ellington’s company Tempo Music, with Tempo agreeing to publish the song ‘Transblucency’ with Brown and Ellington each receiving 50% of the royalties. Signed on the last page by Ellington and Brown, and also signed by Daniel James, “DJ.” In very good condition, with moderate scattered foxing to first two pages, some paper loss to lower right corner of first page, and small tears to staple holes at top. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
