ALS signed “Jerry Omicron ‘35,’” one page, 6.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, January 23. Letter of condolence to David Easlick, Jr., who spent 25 years as the Executive Director of Delta Kappa Epsilon, a fraternity founded at Yale in 1844. Five presidents have been members of DKE, including Ford. In part: “Betty and I extend our deepest sympathy on Susan’s passing. You have our prayers in this time of sorrow. Susan was an outstanding person in every way & was admired by all who knew her. She was truly loved by the Brothers in DKE. You should be extremely proud of Susan’s many achievements.” In very fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, bearing a pre-printed free frank. Omicron is the name of the DKE chapter at the University of Michigan, Ford’s alma mater. A touching letter with a most unusual signature. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
