Johnny ‘Guitar’ Watson

Flamboyant blues, soul, and funk musician (1935–1996). DS, signed “Johnny Watson,” three pages, 8.5 x 13, August 5, 1977. Watson is granted a non-exclusive license for the use of seven songs on an upcoming album, including ‘Lady Voo Doo,’ ‘Master Funk,’ and ‘Virginia’s Pretty Funky,’ paying a royalty of $.02 for every song sold. Signed on the second page by Watson. In fine condition, with expected document wear. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
