Roncalli, Patriarcha de Ven.,” one page, 6 x 7.5, February 14, 1953. A brief thank-you letter upon his being named Cardinal and Patriarch of Venice, penned inside a card printed with a corresponding message in French, in part (translated): “I sincerely thank everyone who has sent their congratulations for this double nomination, and wholeheartedly wish you the wealth of all the blessings of the earth and sky.” In fine condition.
