Description

Bon Scott and the band sign a rare Powerage in-store display

Super scarce 1978 color store stand-up display of Angus Young in his trademark schoolboy outfit, measuring approximately 39 x 21, signed in red ballpoint, “Bon AC/DC,” and in various color felt tip, “Angus Young AC/DC,” “Malcolm Young, AC/DC,” “Cliff Williams, AC/DC,” and “Phil Rudd, AC/DC.” In very good condition, with Malcolm’s signature fairly light, but still legible, scattered creases, adhesive remnants from the missing album cover which was originally affixed to Angus’s upraised arm, and some scattered soiling. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from Roger Epperson/REAL. Any early in-store promotional displays for the band are very uncommon in their own right, even more so signed by the entire band. Given its impressive size, this piece presents notably larger AC/DC autographs than those usually encountered. RR Auction COA.
