Letter to Captain Alden Partridge of Norwich, Vermont. In part: “The Bearer Mr. Horry…being on his way to Norwich, to place his son under your excellent direction, affords me the opportunity of introducing him to you, as a gentleman of the first respectability.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature).
