Screenwriter (born 1944) who co-wrote the first two Dirty Harry films, received an Academy Award nomination as screenwriter of Apocalypse Now, and wrote and directed The Wind and the Lion, Conan the Barbarian, and Red Dawn. Original brad-bound fifth draft of the script for the 1979 film Apocalypse Now, 8.5 x 11, 154 pages, January 29, 1976, signed and inscribed on the cover in black felt tip, “To Alfred, Never surrender, Keep the faith, John Milius.” The date notation to the lower right is inherent to the copied page, not handwritten. In fine condition, with mild staining to the cover. This was originally obtained by a Hollywood producer during a visit to Milius at his office. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
