This should be possible without denying them at a certain age their pensions, and it would mean that if they were not earning as much as they had in the past they could live more comfortably on what admittedly are today inadequate old age pensions. This system would allow their wisdom and their capacity to work to continue. One of the reasons for retiring people early is to give young people a chance to come up more quickly and of course with automation we are going to have to do some real thinking on how to get full employment and develop new fields of work for both young and old.
