Dahlgren,” one page, 4.75 x 7.5, April 2, [circa 1863]. Letter to General Joseph Hooker. In full: “I am much obliged to you for your polite attention in regard to another nine inch gun discovered by your men.” In fine condition, with intersecting folds.
