Crisp vintage matte-finish 10.25 x 13.5 Underwood & Underwood portrait of Coolidge in a seated three-quarter-length pose, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Mrs. Lindley H. Hadley, With Best Wishes, Calvin Coolidge.” In fine condition, with a darker area surrounding the image and subtle spots of silvering. The recipient, Lavalette Hadley, was the wife of Congressman Lindley H. Hadley of Washington, who served in the House of Representatives from 1915–1933.
