Description

The ‘Fearsome Foursome’ step up to fight hunger at Christmas time

DS one page, 8.5 x 11, October 15, 2005. All four players sign an agreement allowing the use of their names and quotes in endorsing the 2004 Rooster Foundation Food Drive. Each has a personal quote presented under a statement, which reads, “I, [signer’s name], a proud member of the Los Angeles Rams ‘Fearsome Foursome’ do hereby authorize the Rooster Foundation Food Drive to use my name, the quote above and the following quote in the promotion of the 2004 Food Drive.” Each has signed below his personal quote, as follows: “The best thing the Roosters do is feed hungry kids at Christmas,” Deacon Jones; “Kids can’t dream on an empty stomach—the Rooster Food Drive keeps their dream alive!” Rosey Grier; “Let’s help the Roosters put a ‘head slap’ on hunger for kids in Orange County this Christmas,” Merlin Olsen; and “Beautiful Orange County has a dirty little secret—thousands of kids go to bed hungry every night. The Roosters let the sun shine in for many of them with their food boxes on Christmas,” Lamar Lundy. In fine condition, with several small corrections to text in an unknown hand. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
