Selassie was one of the most revered figures among followers of the Rastafari movement, whose members viewed him as a symbol of God incarnate. Rare choice vintage matte-finish 8 x 10.75 full-length portrait of Selassie standing before a regal chair and wearing an ornate uniform, signed against the light background in fountain pen and dated 1954. Presented in its original 10 x 14 silver frame featuring a gold-colored monogram and crown at the top. In fine condition.
