The letter asks permission to reprint Reagan’s A Time for Choosing. Letter reads, in part: “You might also request from Mr. Reagan his permission as the author of the article to have it republished. To save you the trouble, therefore, I am sending him a copy of this letter on which he can note his reply, together with an envelope addressed to you." Reagan has endorsed the letter in red ink, "Permission granted / Sept. 30 - 1963 / Ronald Reagan." Toning along two edges, and some creases and small tears along right edge, otherwise fine condition.
