Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Brando as the smooth, mellow-voiced gambler Sky Masterson from the film Guys and Dolls, apparently from a 1956 Ted Allan photo shoot, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, “To Jack, a great fighter and a nice guy. Very best wishes—Marlon Brando.” In very good condition, with light toning and staining to borders from adhesive on reverse, a light central vertical crease through facial area, a tack hole to top right corner tip and right edge, and a few other scattered light creases. Brando signed photos are notoriously difficult to find—this one, in character and with a charming inscription, is a particularly outstanding example. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
