A letter to his wife while negotiating for his opera

Mailing envelope from the Hotel Westminster in Paris, 5.25 x 3.5, addressed in Puccini’s hand to, “Madame E. Puccini, Via Verdi 4, Milano, Italie.” Envelope bears an April 17, 1913, postmark. In fine condition. Puccini was in Paris negotiating for the rights to La Houppelande, later his opera Il Tabarro. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
